Park laps, powder turns, and shredding with friends are the hallmarks of snowboarding, but taking photos of the good times is a close second to the fun of being on hill. Being that it’s easierthan ever before to snap a quick photo and upload it to your facebook, twitter, or instagram, we thought it was perfect timing to hold an early season photo contest.
From now until January 1st, we want to see your photos of pre and early season boarding with the homies for the Main Event Photo Contest. Photos can be of anything: riding, high fives, new snow, pretty sunrises, icy lifts, homegrown backyard set ups, your new kit for this year, hanging out with friends after riding–it can be ANYTHING as long as it’s about snowboarding and having as much fun as possible as we patiently wait for resorts to open to full capacity.
Post your photo to the Main Event Photo Contest facebook event page and get your friends to “like” it in order to win! You can check out all of the other photos on the event page, too.
January 1st, we will close off entries and pick the 5 best pre/early season photos, based on a combination of the most “likes” on the picture and the judgement of the Main Event crew. Winners will each receive a pair of FREE lift tickets to either Bretton Woods, Sugarbush, or Granite Gorge. So whip out your elph, t2i, iphone, or android, and start shooting!

Rules:
- 1 Entry per contestant
- Photo has to do with snowboarding somehow
- Other than that, get creative, have fun, enjoy and please ride safe!
- Winners will be determined based on a combination of “likes” on the photos and the judgement of the Main Event crew
